Cowell Electric is a powerline construction and electrical contracting company with a rich and diverse history based on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.
The name Cowell Electric originated in 1928 and has become a brand renowned for achieving exceptional results in often adverse conditions.

Our core competencies are the construction and maintenance of powerlines up to and including 275kV, all types of industrial electrical contracting, plumbing, water waste, gas fitting, refrigeration and the installation of underground electrical distribution systems.

Cowell Electric are specialists in working in regional and remote areas of Australia, principally for the mining, oil and gas industries, renewable energy, defence and land subdivisions.

We endeavour to carry out our activities in the most practical and economical manner utilising a quality “whole of system” approach, employing and rewarding committed and reliable staff and maintaining close relationships with our business partners and preferred suppliers.

 

Our purpose built motor vehicle fleet consist of a number of Borer Cranes, Elevated Working Platforms, Truck Mounted Cranes, Flat Top Light Trucks and 4WD Toyota utilities. Cowell Electric plant replacement and maintenance programme ensures all our vehicles are site compliant and in optimum working condition.

Cowell Electric's plant and equipment is specifically designed for working in remote areas and ensures that our employees have the right tools to get the job completed on time, correctly and within budget.
